Ascension Media Group Inc. launches FLG10, a coaching and recruiting platform for flag football
Ascension Media Group Inc. opens FLG10 at the end of August, a platform built for flag football teams and the athletes who play for them. It is the company's first product built for a global market.
FLG10 is two things at once. For coaches it is a full coaching platform, with film breakdown, playbooks, practice planning and team communication built for the flag game rather than borrowed from tackle. For athletes it is a recruiting tool. A player builds a highlight reel out of their own clips and their team's film, then shares a link a college coach can open without an account. Teams get their tools, players get theirs, and the film moves between the two.
The sport has grown faster than the software serving it. Sixteen state high school associations sanctioned girls' flag football for the 2025-26 season and another eighteen are running pilot programs, with participation up 60 percent in a single year to nearly 69,000 players, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations. Flag football makes its Olympic debut in Los Angeles in 2028.
Most of those programs have been priced out of coaching software entirely. A 5v5 roster of a dozen players cannot carry the per-season cost of tools built for programs ten times its size, so the majority of them run a season on a phone and a group chat. FLG10 starts at $200 USD a year for a team.
That number is possible because of what the platform was built on. ALL24, the company's Canadian football platform, was designed from the start to run at low overhead so volunteer-run programs could afford it, and that architecture carries straight into the flag market.
"Flag is its own sport with its own culture, and it deserves its own tool. We could have shipped it as a setting inside our football platform as planned, which would have been faster, but it would have been the wrong move."
"There are thousands of flag programs that have never had access to any of this, and the only reason is the price. That is a solvable problem. It's the one we set out to fix."
